Hex patterns are an easy way to create some great effects, especially on Eldar face plates. Windex/Ammonia Bad for Airbrushes?

Ok, so here it goes. This is an argument that has irked me since the get go. I use windex to clean my airbrushes.  I spray it through and it gets the paint out.  I don't soak the whole brush in it.  That is bad to prolong an airbrush in ammonia base product.  But I can 100% say that it's ok to spray windex through your airbrush.  Why? So we'll take a look at the Minitaire Ancient Bone and comparing it to the almost equivalent colors in the Vallejo Colors as this would be the base color you would use for AoA color scheme.

So we take a look at a very cheap spray booth.  It costs me $50 and is sold by TCP Global.  It's not too bad but you get what you pay for,.  It's mostly made of plastic but is light weight, portable and cheap.

Badger Minitaire Ghost Tints. They are also known as "Candies". They are basically translucent paints that you can use to lay on top of other colors or shades of grays to create some awesome effects.

What an awesome and easy way to get shading on to a model.  Pre-shading and post-shading is something I used to make great shading effects on planes and tanks in scale modeling and it was a natural transition to bringing it over into wargaming.
